My name is Marin and I have just turned 17. I will run the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022 with my parents in London on October 9^th to collect funds for Breast Cancer Now. This charity is important for me because my mum, Iselle, was diagnosed with a triple positive breast and lymph cancer in October 2020. Breast Cancer Now is a research and care charity funding almost 340 of the brightest minds in breast cancer research to discover how we can prevent and save lives . Their vision is to make sure that by 2050, everyone with breast cancer lives, and lives well.
