The time is right for me to run my 5th marathon and this time I'll be running around Chester to try and finish the 26.2 miles again. I'll be running to raise money for the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre. The work they do is incredible and invaluable. This research is even more important now, as our friends' daughter Eilidh, who is 6, has been receiving treatment for a brain tumour since last year. Eilidh is the most beautiful, bright and bubbly little girl and I can't even begin to try and imagine how devastating this horrible disease is for her, her mum Lydia, dad Rob, sister Caitlin and brother Lucas. I feel privileged to be able to train for and run this race. Any donations will be very gratefully received. Thank you so much, Marijke
