Story
I'm doing a sponsored swim to raise money for the Haiti emergency fund following the recent devastating earthquake - payments will go directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
This is particularly challenging for me having had major spinal surgery last year which I'm still recovering from, so I hope I can count on your support. I am not sure how many lengths I'll manage but I guarantee it will be a minimum of 100 lengths. Someone will be with me witnessing my swim to make sure I don't cheat!
Please sponsor me however much you can afford - from £1 to £100, everything counts.

** UPDATE 1/2/10 I did it! 110 lengths! Thanks to everyone who's sponsored me so far and I hope I can beat my new target with all those pledges! Never swum so far before so I'm resting tonight, but so pleased I managed it and raised so much money for the Haiti survivors.

** UPDATE 21/1/10 I will be doing my sponsored swim on Monday 1st February 2010 at the Ozone Leisure Centre, Kassam Stadium. Many thanks to the Ozone for agreeing to let me do the swim there, and to Bravissimo for donating a swimsuit! My swim is featured in the Oxford Mail and Daily Info - links below:

Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me so far. Your support is very much appreciated,
Cheers,
Marie
