Story

I'll be running my first ever marathon on the 21st July (it's less than 3 weeks away!) and my running club Reading Joggers are proud to have chosen BIBS (Babies In Buscot Support) as their charity of the year. BIBS is a charity that focuses exclusively on the special care babies and their families in the Royal Berkshire Hospital. Bibs were there for my beautiful friend Bev when her twin boys were born and James was Premature. They helped him grow, mature his lungs and fatten him up. Money donated to BIBS helps Buscot Ward to purchase state of the art equipment such as Giraffe incubators, travel incubators, resuscitation equipment and smaller items for example a photo printer, premature baby clothes and keep sake boxes. BIBS also funds a professional Family Support Practitioner to visit the ward 3 times a week.
