Fundraising for Think Children
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I have made a commitment to walk/run 874 miles. which is the distance between Lands End and John O'Groats. I will be logging my miles on the End to End page https://lejog16.virtual-maps.com/ which is where you can search my name and see where I am up to.
I will be doing this to raise money for Think Children and also for my personal health and wellness.
I, like many others have battled with my mental health which stems from childhood. Think Children work to help children at primary school age who are struggling to cope with emerging emotional, social and/or behavioural issues. The aim being to prevent issues from escalating and becoming harder to deal with.
In the current climate some children born just before or during the pandemic will not have the same social interactions as older children and children like my own have not had a consistent education or a full 'at school ' year for 2 years which for some children must be hard to process. This was why I decided that Think Children would be a great charity to support and I hope you all agree and will help me in providing them donations to help fund this amazing service.
The challenge runs from 01/01/2022 -31/12/2022 but I would like to complete it sooner if I can.
