Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of us willing to take the challenge walking up Snowdon in the dark is definitely one to be proud of! As well as making happy memories this once in a lifetime adventure is going to be fantastic!

We are trekking to the summit of Snowdon in the early hours and experience not just the full moon on the way up but on reaching the summit we will watch the sunrise from the highest mountain in England and Wales.

We will celebrate with photographs at the top with our Prader-Willi banner and a fantastic feeling of achievement! Breakfast on our return will be well deserved.

The reason for this adventure is to raise much-needed funds for FPWR. As a company, Almond Family Pubs have been raising money for FPWR ( Foundation of Prader-Willi Research ) for 5 years now. We came aware
of Prader-Willi when Vicki Almond’s daughter was born and diagnosed with the condition. Her delightful little lady is called Bella.

As a company, to date, the sum raised is £70,000 which is incredible but as FPWR is a virtually unknown charity to many we need to carry on fund-raising to make a difference to the lives of these lovely people.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
