My father was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer last year and after a brave and emotional battle, with a particularly horrible type of cancer, he sadly passed away on the 2nd April 2013. My brother and I miss him every day.

I HATE cancer! It's a disease/illness that affects millions of people across the world every day; taking lives, young and old....I cannot wait for the day that we find a cure!

With all that in mind, I am attempting my first half marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help them find a cure, so that father's and mother's can spend more happy and healthy time with their daughter's and son's.
