The coronavirus crisis is such a difficult and unprecedented time for our whole global family, but we are determined to ensure no one is beyond the reach of the support they need to survive and thrive.

Story

I am going to take part in the Cafod lent challenge to walk 10,000 steps each day for 6 weeks during lent, starting 17th February and finishing on 4th April. The money raised through sponsorship will help provide a well for a poor community in Ethiopia who currently have to spend 10 hours each day walking for water. The annual rainfall in Ethiopia is 100-200mm. They have to walk to the top of a very mountainous region to find water from a small spring.
