I am running for this charity because it’s the least I can do to raise much needed funds for these amazing local hospitals. 

Having recently been diagnosed with cancer my dad was anxious about what lay ahead. The staff at Northern General have provided him with first class care - from surgeon to staff nurse to tea lady; every single person has shown him compassion and care when he was at his lowest- For that we can’t thank them enough. Raising some money to alleviate some of the pressures the staff are working under is our way of saying thank you.
