After a two-year delay due to the pandemic, in the summer of 2022, I sailed across the Atlantic on the final leg of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

This was a new challenge for me, having never sailed before doing the extensive Clipper Race training. With my crew on team Dare To Lead we sailed over 5,400nm from New York to London, racing the other 10 boats in the race fleet. The 70-foot yachts are stripped back for racing with few creature comforts. The crew of 16 including a professional Skipper and First Mate were split into two watches and sailed 24/7.  

To spur me on when times got tough I'm raising money for UNICEF UK. With everything that is happening in the world at the moment, sadly they are needed more than ever.
