Marie & Jesper's page - London Marathon 2019 (and mini Marathon)

London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will (again) attempt to run the London Marathon. Last year ended in a disaster for me when I was 100% fully trained (4 months of hard work), done my final long run and just started tapering when I had a bad accident that stopped me participate! No need to say I was absolutely devastated.... so here I am again, not 100% recovered but at least able to run! And for what better cause can you do it than trying to tackle the worlds poverty and hunger at the same time?
My little boy, Jesper 11 years old, is also going to participate, but in the Mini Marathon. He is one of a few boys from the Richmond borough team and will compete against other boys around the country! He is also very keen in helping to defeat poverty and hunger.
We are therefore running for Concern Worldwide, which is an amazing international humanitarian organisation dedicated to work with the world’s poorest people to transform their lives. Did you know that one little piggy cost £9 and a cow that could give milk to a family for the whole year costs only £44?
