So for those of you who dont know much about Crohn's it completely sucks..it tries to take away your independence, crush your dreams and make you rethink every plan you ever made. It changes lives and effects those around you. It can change your outlook on life and makes you question why? 

It makes you cry and tests your pain threshold beyond belief! Crohns makes you have more visits to hospital and appointments with consultants than if you worked for the NHS! It tests you way beyond every limit of your being.

Crohn's makes those around you wish they could do anything to take away the pain, they wish every day that it would go away so they could see you enjoy a meal out with friends...A night out with a hangover to boot...to see you get excited planning your graduation...holding down the fantastic job you've worked your ass off to get..and above all not to see the fear in your eyes and the tears rolling down your cheeks when you dont think you can take much more.

So this is why we are doing this for all those of you out there fighting everyday for some sort of normality, for the family members being a shoulder to cry on and for keeping the humour flowing when times feel dark. We want to help raise money to find more treatments and untimatley be one step closer to kicking Crohn's ass!! 

We can do anything together so Cath and myself have decided to push ourselves and see if we can get fit enough in 5 months time to take on a Tough Mudder challenge. Absolutely bricking it and at this moment in time sat here wondering why we didnt do a bake sale or a sponsored silence....Oh well its done now time to shift some excess chunk and hit the gym!
