Ward 5 holds a special place in my heart and Last year they supported my 14 year old through surgery to remove the base of his skull. This week we have been told Jack needs more surgery in January 2021 to sew a patch in his Dura to allow free flow of CF fluid.

We now have a date for surgery
30th December 2020 - a little earlier than expected but we have been advised to have the surgery as soon as possible.
I will post a further update once I have an agreed date for the head shave with Jack.

To show support to my son and all the children who experience similar experiences I have pledged to shave my hair off in January 2021 before his surgery and am hoping to raise a minimum of £500
