Story

I'm keeping ACTIVE in APRIL to help raise awareness of the rare neurological condition Sturge Weber Syndrome and vital funds for Sturge Weber UK

Annie has Sturge Weber Syndrome Type 3. It’s a complexed syndrome that affects everyone who has it differently.  Annie’s biggest issue at the moment is the epilepsy that forms part of the syndrome.

After having her home for the last year and her refusing to dress or go out, I’m hoping to get myself back into exercising by doing 60 miles in April.

Wish me luck the furthest I’ve managed in lockdown has been from the kitchen to the front room !   During hospital admissions (12 in the last year) it’s been 10 steps from the chair to the bathroom.  😜

I will do this 💪🏻 Everyday and night Annie has seizures.  She gets through them with her head held high and determination to keep going.
