Story
Luke has been attending Rainbow Hub since he was 2 years old. They have been a massive support to Luke and our family over the years and have been so important in helping Luke with his physical skills.
Every year, Luke sets himself a challenge to complete for the annual Rainbow Ramble. Anyone who knows Luke, knows that he likes a challenge; Luke is very competitive, stubborn perhaps, but once he sets his mind on something, he works hard to achieve it! This year, Luke has decided that he wants to do 30 miles in 30 days on his bike. This is a massive challenge - Luke has Cerebral Palsy and he really struggles physically but he wants to do it to raise money for Rainbow Hub as it’s so important to us and families like ours, that Rainbow is still operating after this Covid nightmare is over, as so many fundraising events have been cancelled.
At this time of year we usually see hundreds of people gathering to take part in the Rainbow Ramble. Given the situation Rainbow Hub have had no option but to cancel this year's event. This has been devastating. Not only is the Ramble the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the children and the commitment of their supporters but it also raises a staggering £30,000 each year. This income has stopped overnight. So this year I am helping them to try something different...I am making a donation and entering their virtual Rainbow Ramble on Saturday 9th May 2020. Please sponsor me and help Rainbow Hub through these difficult times.
