Story

This journey is for Dad, and all the people that have suffered and are suffering from this disease.

I can't control what is happening to dad, but I can raise money and awareness for this horrible disease.

As a family we were ill prepared to deal with what was coming, so my personal goals for this would be to build awareness so people did know what was coming and knew what support was available and who would provide that support to them.

My dad went into residential care just before Christmas, and on my first visit to see him I just cried, he wanted to go to the loo but when they put a support out in front of him to help him get up he just looked at his hands in confusion, so I watched my dad being hoisted into a wheelchair, upsetting doesn't cover it.

So me and my chum Sarah are walking just over 100miles in two days to raise money for the above, any donations gratefully received 💖💖💖
