After running my first half marathon earlier this year just for myself and to whether I could do it, I'm now excited to be running the Great North Run for such an amazing cause.

Why Teenage Cancer trust?

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need – so no young person faces cancer alone.

Teenage Cancer Trust offers unique care and support, designed for and with young people. They fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.

I plan to break my current PB of 2:06:49 and will be running with my amazing colleagues to help support even further!
