Story
On Remembrance Sunday 13th November 2022, I will be walking up Pen y Fan in South Wales to commemorate Remembrance Day whilst raising awareness and funds for the four charities: Rock2Recovery, The Dorset Children's Foundation, REORG and MYTIME Young Carers. The route is the 24km test march AKA The Fan Dance, undertaken during Special Forces Selection. A two minute silence will be held at the summit at 11am meaning there will be time pressure to reach the peak within 2 hours.
I will be walking alongside up to 50 other associates of Who Dares Gyms, an incredible outdoor gym facility on Bournemouth beach, founded and directed by ex Special Forces which supports the four charities mentioned above. Each associate has a target of £1000 (minimum £500) to raise and therefore we have set up our own individual Just Giving pages. After the event, everyone's fundraising will be split equally between the four charities by MYTIME Young Carers as it is not possible to set up a Just Giving page for more than one charity. No money will be subtracted to cover any costs associated with the event.
