I had the absolute pleasure to be able to work and volunteer for Task Brasil, with the cause touching my heart. I am proud to have supported them and seen how quickly they have bounced back since the recession, losing donors and staff . They have been determined to continue to help children in need with their cost effective projects. This is a truly inspirational charity that started the 90s, with jimmy page donating enough money to help fund casa jimmy.
It is an amazing feeling to know that they are growing again and have sheltered hundreds of kids in the streets and young pregnant mothers for many years. They now continue to support children with after school projects,sport activities, lessons in job prospects, safe sex and support them for the future with social care and support to families.
Every penny you give, will help the charity greatly in continuing the cost effective projects and keep a child can safe with an easier life in the drug areas, in the drug / gang areas of the favelas!
I wish them the best of luck to continue to expand their projects and to help more underprivileged kids. They relay solely on donations from people like us to be able to continue.
