Story

I am taking part in Brain Tumour Support's virtual journey to New Zealand - Miles for Support - because the charity means a lot to me.  My brother died of a brain tumour when he was in his twenties.

I love the idea of trying to get to New Zealand virtually and with other fundraisers.  My self-employment has ceased because other people are not going on holiday and I used to cycle to work.

I am determined to keep fit and I also want to continue to get to know the town that I moved to last year.  I have not used a scooter since I was a kid but it appeals to me because it has two wheels and it is faster than walking.  I think I look ridiculous with a kid's toy but I want to overcome this.  I do not mind looking ridiculous if it will help provide support to families affected by brain tumours.

I am sponsoring myself and I would be very happy if a few other people will give a small donation to encourage me along the way.
