Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My beloved brother Marty (Bap) Kennedy died after a very short and brave fight against Cancer , he was 54 years of age. Marty hadn't even known anything was wrong with his health until he collapsed in pain on 7th May 2016, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died on the 01st November 2016.
Marty spent 11 and half weeks in Marie Curie hospice in Belfast, he fought bravely to the end and the dedication of the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospice can never be repaid. They were amazing throughout my brothers time spent there and he himself wrote about them and his own gratitude in the blog he wrote to update his fans .

Marty was a loving, beautiful and inspirational human being and my heart aches for a world without him. I can however give something back in his memory. Marty had not drank alcohol for over 12 years and I cannot think of anything more to show my love and respect for my brother by spending all of 2017 doing the same in his honour, and being able to raise funds for the Marie Curie Belfast hospice.
I will also personally donate the money I save in 2017 along with any sponsorship received from family and friends.
My brothers wish was that "the magic of music lived on"- Please visit his official Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/BapKennedy, listen to his music and enjoy the musical genius and melodic soul of my brother- Bap Kennedy.
