Story

SIGNIFICANCE:

The people of Yemen were directly blessed by the Prophet Muhammad (saw) - but these blessed people are currently suffering from ‘the worst man-made humanitarian crisis of our time’.

Currently, two out of every three Yemenis can’t afford to buy food. They are reliant on our help to survive.

FUNDRAISING EFFORT:

Mariam is taking part in the 5-mile Walk to Yemen to help raise funds to provide flour for the people of Yemen.

By making a donation, you are not only providing bread to the orphans and widows in Yemen, you are empowering them with strength, resilience and hope to help them rebuild their lives after years of war and conflict.

£100:  Produces 2,800 loaves of bread, feeding 1,400 people.

Let's aim to feed 20,000 people!!

Thank you for your support :)

Love from Mariam xx

HADITH:

The Prophet (saw) said, ‘The best of men are the men of Yemen, belief is Yemeni, and I am Yemeni’. (Ahmad)

He (saw) also said, ‘For me to walk for my brother’s need is better for me than secluding in worship in this Masjid of mine for a month.’
(Qada-ul-Hawaij)
