Shelter to Home Ramble · 1 May 2020 to 31 May 2020 ·
Jake was rescued in January in the freezing rain, with a badly broken leg and a contagious smile. The compound fracture was not a new injury, and he is believed to have been hit by a car. He has had months of medical care, including treatment for his fractured tibia and fibula, as well as a bone infection that followed.
These and countless other treatments, for hundreds of other rescues, add thousands upon thousands to the tab of Shelter to Home. While the differences made in the lives of these pets and those who love them are priceless, the tab continues to grow through times of hardship, and periods where traditional fundraising is made impossible by the state of our world.
We’ll be walking for donations as well as for rehab for Jake. I hope that every day, we’ll earn $50 on our walk, raising $1,550 by the end of the month. Jake is pumped to earn your hard earned cabbage, and he’s thankful for your help!
