Most of us will be profoundly touched by someone special at some point in our lives. Someone who is kind, always has something positive to say, and whose smile lights up the room. The loss of that someone leaves a deep grief and we mourn for that bright future that was not to be. And we are reminded of the blessing that is life.

Sumayya was one such person many of us had the privilege to love and know. She passed away a year after graduating from Medical School. She was vivacious, fun-loving and a joy to be around; a most beloved daughter, grand-daughter, sister and a dear friend to many. Her premature passing away was difficult to understand and accept but her memory will remain with us always iA.

We have pledged to raise £1000 for ULFA Aid in Sumayya's memory. ULFA Aid is a charity which works globally but has more recently set up community projects here in the UK to help the destitute, homeless, lonely, and the emotionally distressed. Sumayya's outlook: live life to its fullest, be fair, and remember to smile! She wouldn't have it any other way. Sumayya we miss you! Rest in peace.
