Story
Eritrean refugees who have fled to Sudan are now living in the most poverty-stricken refugee camps in the world. These refugee camps are largely filled with widows and orphans and we are the main charity helping these huge refugee camps where over half a million people are living in horrific conditions, since 1967. The UN pulled out of helping a number of years ago.
The founder of the charity Sultan Omar is an Eritrean refugee and an orphan himself who has worked tirelessly to set up this charity all by himself.
I came into contact with Ethar Relief through my sister who volunteers for the charity. After seeing the great and genuine work they do I will be joining them in their first fundraising challenge; climbing Mount Snowdon on the 23rd February. I'm hoping to raise as much as possible to put towards their current project; Building a School for Orphaned Girls.
Please kindly donate towards this worthwhile cause. Every penny raised will make this trek a tiny bit easier for me!!!
Thank you :)
