Andy and I love to cycle, Andy cycle's 2-3 times a week to get to work as i jump in the car and often cycles for pleasure in the evenings. I have recently started to ride more myself and wanted to put my new found hobby to good use, as a result i set about research which led me to Orchid and discovering that I could ride my bike and raise money and awareness for this fantastic cause at the same time. I feel that male cancers do not recieve the same amount of publicity as other cancers and this concerns me greatly,  our husbands/partners /male relatives and our friends and colleagues are all at risk of these cancers not to mention those already affected. By undertaking this challenge of cycling 31 miles (having never really cycled for long stretches before) i hope to raise as much money and awareness as i possibly can so that all the men in our lives can benefit from this amazing charity.
