The London Marathon organisers recently announced that this year alongside the live marathon they are now launching 50,000 places for a virtual event. As a charity, we have been successful in securing places in the Virtual London Marathon this year, taking place on 3rd October 2021 Whilst a virtual run enables you to run the route you choose, we would love to build a team of St Lukes runners, plan our own marathon route and try to recreate a mini version of the day with supporters on route cheering you on (subject to any government guidelines). We know this kind of support can be a godsend to help your get through a mammoth run like this. This wouldnt be compulsory but we love the idea and hope you do too.
