Story
Many of you were kind enough to offer support for my 26 day trek in Nepal ... and hopefully most of you were refunded after the charity I was supporting collapsed with no warning. Luckily I did not collapse and completed the Upper Dolpo Circuit, going both higher and further than I had ever been before. A number of you suggested I should transfer my fundraising to an alternative charity so I am now doing a slightly shorter circuit - just the 12 miles this time - but for an absolutely vital organisation in our part of the Yorkshire Dales. The CRO operates from opposite our front door and is constantly active in both cave and mountain search and rescue. Their service is crucial in saving the lives of those who get into trouble either above or below ground. I am hoping that lots of you will come and visit us in this beautiful region of Yorkshire and - should you ever need rescuing - I am keen to ensure that the CRO is there for you, as it is for anyone who may need them! If anyone would like to come and join me on the circuit on 19th May, get in touch. Otherwise anything by way of sponsorship would be much appreciated.
