You all know that my Sons lost their father last year due to mental health issues, but this is not an isolated problem. Every other year it seems another person from our local community takes their own life believing that there is no help and no hope. These people are predominantly men who, for outdated reasons believe that it is weak to ask for help. To ask for help is the bravest thing you can do and MIND are invaluable in providing the advice and support needed. For this reason I am running the Leeds Half Marathon for Leeds MIND in memory of Kevin.
Wish me luck!
