Bury Hospice does 'Strictly come Dancing' as 32 contestants gear up for the dance challenge of their life. Each will spend 12 weeks learning new dances to be performed in front of a live audience.

Story

It costs £2.9 million pounds to run Bury Hospice, and as a charity we have to raise over £2.3 million through community support. Every donation makes a difference. £10 - COULD PAY FOR A PATIENTS EVENING MEAL £25 - COULD PAY FOR AN BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT SESSION £50 - COULD PAY FOR A HOME VISIT BY OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM £75 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR HALF A DAY £150 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR A DAY £450 - COULD PAY FOR A BED FOR A DAY

Bury Hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to hundreds of residents and their families across Bury. It will cost to run the Hospice this year £4.5million and we raise 87% of this total, but with the support of our community we continue to provide care and services to those who need it.
