Diolch o galon i bawb sydd wedi fy noddi. Mi wnes i wirioneddol fwynhau rhedeg ddoe ac yn falch o fy amser - 48:15. Y 5ed merch i orffen!
Dwi wedi penderfynu rhoi fy mhenblwydd i ymgyrch 'I CAN' oherwydd bod codi ymwybyddiaeth ynghylch iechyd meddwl ac annog pobl i siarad gyda rhywun yn rhywbeth sy'n agos iawn at fy nghalon. Mi fyddai hefyd yn rhedeg 10K Bangor ar 6ed Hydref i ddathlu fy mhenblwydd, felly dewch i gefnogi! Diolch yn fawr iawn xx
I have decided to donate my birthday to the 'I CAN' campaign as raising awareness of mental health and encouraging people to talk is something that's very close to my heart. I will also be running the Bangor 10K on 6th October to celebrate my birthday, please come to support! Thank you very much xx
Not every illness is visible.1 in 4 adults experience mental health problems or illness at some point during their lifetime. There's been a steep rise in the number of young people in North Wales who self-harm; 9 out of 10 people with mental health problems experience stigma and discrimination. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50 in North Wales. The numbers say it all. Mental health problems have the potential to affect each and every one of us, and their impact - as well as the associated stigma - can be devastating. I CAN is being led by a coalition of people who are committed to bettering the range of community support services available while helping to tackle stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health.People who are Independent, Contributing, Active and Networked enjoy better mental health and wellbeing. They have more resilience, enabling them to face life's challenges and say I CAN.
