We are there when it matters to support people through dying or grief.

Story

I accidentally got a place for the London marathon this year Sunday 26th April after secretly hoping the ballot would not go in my favour. Unfortunately it did and this means I have to do it or my Dad ( who did not get a place) shall be very disappointed.

I will be running very slowly and may crawl by the end but I shall finish and that's what counts.

If you would like to donate money, I have said I will raise funds for Sue Ryder which is a charity that funds my local hospice in Cheltenham (Leckhampton Court) which I believe provides invaluable support for terminal patients with cancer and their families in their last few days/weeks of life. I worked closely with this hospice during my time at the oncology centre in Cheltenham and feel it is a very worthwhile cause that makes a great difference to these patients

Thank you!

Mari

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
