Story

The hospice has helped so many in our local community, and they were planning to care for my Dad, James, before he passed away in Wishaw General Hospital on the 26th of April this year. The team are an amazing group of people who provide unbelievable support, any help you can give them to support those in need is so very much appreciated.
St Andrew’s Hospice provides care and support to patients and their families tailored to meet their individual needs. Their goal is to provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for their patients in a calm, peaceful and welcoming environment. They care for patients with a range of needs including symptom management, rehabilitation as well as end of life care. They aim to ensure their patients live as actively as they can, for as long as they can and ensure they have the best quality of life possible.

My beautiful friend Abigail, who has honoured her Mum by doing incredible amounts of fundraising for Loros Hospice in Leicestershire has kindly agreed to join me for the challenge of the climb. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland, the United Kingdom and the British Isles. The summit is 4,413 feet above sea level and is the highest land in any direction for 459 miles. We are taking on this challenge in their memory.
