Story

My friends, Ellie and Sam, are parents of Mikaere (Kai), who was born with Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH), a rare metabolic disorder with no cure and limited treatment options.

I'm running the Milton Keynes Marathon on 6 May 2019 and using the opportunity to raise funds for Joseph's Goal, the UK's only NKH charity.

Will you support me by showing your support to Joseph's Goal? Your donation will go towards research into NKH, which, in turn, can have a direct affect on the future of children like Mikaere.

Joseph Michael Kendrick is 15 years old and has Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia, a rare genetic disorder that affects one in 60,000 new-borns. The condition is so serious that less than 500 people in the world are living with it. Joseph’s Goal has been set up to raise funds and awareness into NKH.
