This is a social swim for a regular group of sea swimmers to enjoy the sunrise, celebrate International Women's Day, share some cake and raise money for women who need it.
🧜♀ This swim is an informal meet up at a suggested time, not an organised swim
🌅 Meet on the beach by the slope at the tidal pool at 6:15 - 6:20
🌊 Donate £5 or what you can to Kent Charity Oasis Domestic Abuse Service
🍰 Bring cake and your outdoor swimming friends along to share the sunrise with other outdoor swimmers

⚠️ Disclaimer: Swimming is at your own risk and the burden of safety is entirely your own. You judge when to get in and out the water, and how deep or far you will go out. There is no lifeguard (or first aid kit) and if this is a concern for you then think carefully about whether you wish to enter the water ⚠️ Remember the water will be cold, so it is important that you bring plenty of warm clothing and hot drinks for after the swim. Cake is good as well and someone to supply warm hugs 🤗
⚠️winter is the wrong time of year for a first cold water swim. We are all there to enjoy the water, people can give you advice but you must be sure to keep within your limits because this is your responsibility alone⚠️
