Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Margaret Wells known to many as Maggie, was an amazing strong woman, she lived for her family and friends. She was stubborn, loving, fun and was loved by all her family and friends.

There are so many memories of Maggie that could be shared, but the best ones were Sundays, where the family would gather for lunch. It was more a gathering around her and sharing our day with her rather than the dinner, everyone would come from children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. This was where she was most happy, surrounded by her family.

Maggie lost her fight to cancer after 8 years whilst in the care of Marie Curie Hospice also known as Holme Towers in Penarth. Her last moments were peaceful and we would like all donations to go to Marie Curie as a thank you for the care they provided for her.
