Tyler was diagnosed with ALL ( acute lymphoblastic leukaemia) in May 2021.

He spent three months in Southampton General undergoing the  intensive phase of treatment for his illness  followed by regular visits to both Basingstoke and Southampton hospitals. He is now in the 'maintenance' phase of treatment which often leaves him open to infection/side effects and frequently results in periods of hospitalisation.

It is hoped that Tyler's treatment end date will be in October 2024.

Throughout his treatment Tyler has never complained once despite the many side effects of treatment. 

Southampton General  and North Hampshire Hospital Basingstoke have been fantastic in helping Tyler and the Young Lives vs Cancer charity has offered wonderful support to both Tyler and his family.
