Story

I support Severn Hospice together with my husband Graham & daughter Debbie who is Lead Nurse for Hospice @ Home because Severn Hospice cared for our son / brother in the last few weeks of his life.

Phil had been a Firefighter for 14 years until being diagnosed with a brain tumour, he lived 10 years with this condition and sadly passed away aged 46.

Phil loved The Wrekin, often walking it himself. I am going to walk and support the Hospice @ Home Wrekin Challenge - maybe twice in the 24 Hours in his memory.

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.
