I'm rasing money for Cancer Research UK, this is a charity my mum supported all her life.  She told me as a child that by supporting reseach into cancer they would find a cure, I believed her and still do.  Ironically, they never found it before she died of cancer in 1998.

This year as I do the Race for Life I'll be thinking of my mum Peggy, my uncle Mike, my cousin Nancy and my friend Sue, they all died too young.  I'll also think of those who are currently fighting cancer and with hope of those who have survived it.  Hopefully, we can ensure more people survive.
