On midday, Saturday 3rd September I am going to attempt a 12 hour running event in Glenmore, just outside Aviemore. This is a HUGE challenge for me as I am by no means a natural runner! Training is going steady and I am looking forward to the challenge.

I decided this would be a great opportunity to raise some very much needed funds for the wonderful Bethesda Hospice. Bethesda Hospice provides 4 hospice beds for specialist palliative care and 21 care home beds. It is required to raise over £370,000 per year to keep the hospice open and offers a much needed and caring service to those who are terminally ill and those who require nursing care.
