Time to get the kilt out again folks. Alongside my granddaughter, Emma, we are once again doing the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise "loads-a-money"  for the Beatson. A charity very  close to our ❤️ 

The Beatson were  there for my sister 28 years ago, helping her right to the end. 15 years later, they helped her twin through the same breast cancer.

And as many of you know, my daughter (and Emma’s mum) Samantha, is still going through her cancer journey. she has recently  had her 1 year scan, showing no cause for concern. fingers crossed for the next 4 years.

The Beatson centre and the people there are simply amazing. The centre provides so many services for people struggling to live with cancer. Not only providing the medical treatment needed, they also provide relaxation therapies, hair, nail and beauty advice, essential for the mental health of those with cancer. The staff are friendly, caring and simply wonderful. 

All this costs money, your money, so please give whatever you can to make sure we always have a Beatson for those who need it.
