We had a great day on Saturday, despite the weather and the girls beat the boys!!  Mari and I did the first half 20 mins faster than Iain and Robert and even though we waited for them at lunch we still got to the finish before them :-)  The lovely cakes promised at the end might have helped with that!!!

My work's in-house charity 'The Piggy Bank Appeal' gave us a cheque for £250 which is wonderful and we have now raised over £800.  It was great to visit the Maggie centres on Saturday.  They obviously are very, very important to the families and the individuals who are coping with cancer.
