It's that time of the month-- er, year-- where I talk about menstruation and encourage you to consider donating to support folks in our community! I'm helping to fundraise for Spokane Mardi Bras, a fundraising and awareness campaign helping support folks experiencing poverty in Spokane. I'm collecting monetary donations, pads, tampons, underwear, and bras, along with other items that help those in our community meet their basic needs with dignity.

This is my fifth year partnering with Transitions and Volunteers of America in this fundraising effort, and now more than ever it's clear just how much they do for those experiencing homelessness and poverty in Spokane. I hope you'll join me in supporting their efforts!
