Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: SANDS gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support. As you may or may not know, myself and my fiancee Clare lost our baby girl at full term on 4th November 2008, she was stillborn and after extensive testing we still have no answer as to what caused it. 17 babies die every day in the UK, the tragic victims of stillbirth or neonatal death, a statistic that is repeated every single day across the country. This shocking figure, the loss of 6,500 babies every year, is something the public is not generally aware of. Most people think stillbirths don't happen today, yet stillbirth in the UK is 10 times more common than cot death. Please help me raise £500 or more to do a tandem skydive for the charity SANDS. This is for the WHY17 campaign that is trying to raise awareness of the issues surrounding baby loss and make the government aware of the figures and lack of funding in to research.
