Story

Marcus is going to Ben Nevis next week to take on a massive challenge! Summiting the highest mountain in Scotland is one thing but climbing it via the very long and technical climb of Tower Ridge will be of epic proportions for a 9 year old! Striking a line right up the middle of The Ben’s steep cliffs is Tower Ridge, some 600 meters in length it is one of the longest and most sought after ridges in Scotland. This will raise the bar on anything he has achieved to date. A night in the van in the car park, up early for a Pot Noodle breakfast and a 24km and 1550m ascent. An ascent requiring helmets, harnesses and rope work for protection.

Marcus chose this charity as he 100% agrees with their aim - “We believe that all children should have an equal opportunity to reach their potential, regardless of their circumstances.”

The charity improves young lives by providing practical help (such as Sunshine Coaches, wheelchairs and specialist equipment) and memorable childhood experiences.

The funds will go to the local area where we live 😊
