Marcus's dad Victor contracted Acute Myeloid Leukemia last year, and frankly, the outlook really wasn't great. But because of the incredible treatment that he received at The Christie hospital, he has defied the odds and is now well on the road to recovery! After two intensive chemotherapy regimes and a life-saving bone marrow transplant, he is now cancer free! 

The outstanding kindness, dedication and relentless commitment that he was shown from ALL of the staff at The Christie was just amazing, and they deserve every single penny they can get. 

Although Jim rates himself as a bit of a racing snake and is confident that he is going to break some kind of record, we can assure you that every step of this half marathon will be a lot less painful for us both if we can give something back to The Christie for what they have given Marcus's family.
