Story

I am running the BUPA 10,000 in london at the end of the month to raise money for a charity called CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young). My friend (Danny Johnson) and I are planning to raise as much money as possible so that CRY can carry on their great work. 12 young people die a week from undiagnosed heart conditions.

Francis Muamba is one of the lucky ones to have survied, but it could have been prevented if he had taken a free screening. CRY need the money to advertise and offer these screenings for free.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
