Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most of you know, my moustache has become my pride and joy for the 2 and a bit years that it has graced my face, but the realisation that shaving it off could make a huge difference to children with life threatening illnesses has convinced me that it's time for the 'tache to face the cold hard steel of a razor!
On Saturday 4th May 2019, the 'tache will be coming off, and I'll make sure that the torturous moment is captured on video so that I can share it across Facebook and social media! How long it stays off for depends on how much you raise.... £1,000 and I won't start growing it back for 1 month.... £2,000 and I'll have to wait 2 months.... you get the gist! It would be incredibly bittersweet for me if you lot managed to stump up £5,000 or more!
If you are able to spare a few pennies, it will make a massive difference and I'll be eternally grateful! How about foregoing buying yourself a coffee one day and donating the cost to this amazing charity?
Round Table Children's Wish is a charity I have supported in previous years through the Fireworks Display I organise, through running the British London 10K, as well as other activities - the work that they do is amazing. Here is what they say about the charity on their website (www.rtcw.org):
Round Table Children’s Wish is a registered charity dedicated to granting handcrafted wishes for children and young people with life threatening illnesses across Britain and Ireland.
We pride ourselves on our supportive and caring approach in every aspect of our work, but most importantly in the granting of wishes. We do our best to make sure that every wish is handcrafted in its own special way. Therefore each wish meets the needs of each, individual child, young person and their wider family circumstances.
No two families are the same so why should the wishes be!
