Thank you for looking to donate money to a very worthwhile cause. Simon James and Marcus Whiteley are running the gruelling Highland Fling Ultra Marathon together on Saturday 28^th April 2018. This 53 mile run takes the route through the Loch Lomond and Trossochs National Parks along the West Highland Way, Scotland’s oldest official long distance footpath.

All the money that is raised on this page is being donated to The Maidstone Branch of The Samaritans. I am sure that most of you are aware about the amazing support that The Samaritans provides to many of the most vulnerable in society when they feel they have nowhere else that they can turn to.

The Maidstone Branch is entirely reliant upon the charitable donations it receives and is entirely managed by those that volunteer their time within the branch. It is the nominated charity of the year for KIMS Hospital (Simon and Marcus are the CEO and COO respectively within the hospital) and Marcus gives up 4 hours a week of his time in volunteering for The Samaritans in Maidstone so it is a cause in which
he is very passionate about.
