Swains Lane From Sunrise to Sunset · 8 July 2017

We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday the 8th of July I'll be attempting to "half-Everest" Swains Lane, London's steepest hill at 20% gradient. I'll start at the crack of dawn and ride all the way through the day, that's why we're calling the challenge "Swains Lane from sunrise to sunset". It should be fun, if a bit "hilly"!

To gain 4424 vertical metres I'll have to climb Swains Lane 60 times, riding around 150km in the process. My current record is 30 reps, so that will take some determination!

It won't be easy (and the last reps definitely won't be pleasant) but I'll be doing it to raise money to Great Ormond Street Hospital, so that makes it worth all the effort.
Any donations are welcome (and you can also donate anonymously), so let's see if we can raise some money for this worthy cause.
And please feel free to join me in some hill reps on the day, or just come around and say hi (see full details on our Facebook page, "Outcast Cyclists"), there will be a lot of fellow Outcasts there, we'll have some nice prizes and there will be cake and coffee!
So thanks in advance for your donation and I'll see you there!
